I have a contribified version of the ISC DHCP suite (2.0b1pl0), which I would like to incorporate, as a first step towards making FreeBSD a good DHCP citizen. I feel that the move from the DHCP package as an addon to part of the base system is justified as: - We already offer the precursor services (bootp, bootparam, rboot). - DHCP is becoming the protocol of choice for this task.
