The relevant kernel boot messages are: wdc0 at 0x1f0-0x1f7 irq 14 on isa wdc0: unit 0 (wd0): wd0: 815MB (1669248 sectors), 1656 cyls, 16 heads, 63 S/T, 512 B/S wdc0: unit 1 (atapi): , removable, intr, dma, iordis atapi0.1: unknown phase npx0 on motherboard npx0: INT 16 interface I still have the option of returning this drive but would prefer to get it working since it was so cheap. Probing for devices on the PCI bus: chip0 rev 2 on pci0:0 chip1 rev 2 on pci0:7 pci0:9: AMD, device=0x2000, class=network (ethernet) [no driver assigned] vga0 rev 9 int a irq 11 on pci0:10 Any advice on getting my BOCA PCI network adapter working would be helpful, too, though this is not as important.
