This is good article for starters (except note that it contains
outdated information on java environment setup), but I don't think
that it fits under FreeBSD Handbook charter.  Java and Tomcat
setups (in FreeBSD case) are fast moving targets, so having it
described in article placed on the web is best solution as for me.

PS: As I see this article was not updated for more than year and
it clearly need to be updated with current state of world (at least
mention Diablo, native jdk14 port, update instructions on jdk13
port setup process).  It's also worth mentioning that FreeBSD has
own ways to startup tomcat (if www/jakarta-tomcat4* port was
used)
