https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D252420 --- Comment #23 from Torsten Zuehlsdorff <tz@freebsd.org> --- > If tried disabling the option to use the native driver in the php80-mysql= i port and now php80-mysqli has a dependency on the mysql57-client which ob= viously conflicts with the mysql80-client so I can't even install it to tes= t out your theory.=20 Sure you can. But you need to define MySQL 8.0 as default version before do= ing so. This is why I stated, that the problem will persist when MySQL 8.0 beco= mes a default version of MySQL. Until than you need at least some deeper knowle= dge to get in run. And in this case its easy to go back to the old Auth-method. But we are currently working on a patch to fix this. moin supports me at the moment - which means he writes and tests the patch to cover my lack of time= . ;) --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
