So I am leary of tweaking around in ports unless I am dang sure I know WTF is happening. You were correct. I had to change my Makefile a bit to reflect the change in x11's structure. I had previously moved the dirs around manually and didn't fix the makefiles. I guess it's time to learn CVS.
