Hi; I was under the impression that 16550 uarts could run at 115200 between modem and machine. true? mine seems not so blessed. if i try and set seyon or do an stty -f /dev/ttyd2 speed 115200 my modem starts to ignore me :-) i just opened the box and copied the data off the the uart chip. it is a no name brand "cmd" ? the uart sez under the 'cmd' logo : cm16c550pe it is in a supra faxmodem 144K ******************************************************************************* John Utz spaz@stein.u.washington.edu idiocy is the impulse function in the convolution of life
