Then, I can open multimedia (mp3, midi, ....etc) files very well. But I can't get a CD player application runs with a music CD. For example, KDE CD Player shows this message: "CDROM read or acces error: Please make sure you have access permissions to /dev/rmatcd0c " However ls -la /dev/rmatcd0c order says: crw-r----- 1 root operator 46 , 2 Aug 14 07:58 /dev/rmatcd0c and ¡ I am root ! My CD unit reads data CD's but it doesn't play music CD's.
