Subject:   Booting from 3.1 CD with SCSI drive

ISTR reading on the list that the 3.1 CD will not boot with a SCSI
CD-ROM drive (something about the loader assuming the CD-ROM to be
IDE?).

If this is the case, is it possible to boot from a DOS slice *without*
needing to use the 2 boot floppies?
