But, if you are upgrading from 4.x to 5.x or from 5.x (for x=0; x<3) to 5.3 then you will need to I believe. The best thing to do is read /usr/src/UPDATING before every buildworld. If you do need to rebuild any ports, then it will tell you in there. Cheers, David
