Hi Brad, If you are not in the freebsd multimedia mailing list please do join in. Do keep the same interface so both OSes can benefit from the apps. In the event that you wish to add / or change an IOCTL please post on the multimedia mailing list for review. For now , I rather keep both sources separate the driver is just one file and I am afraid that if we decide to start supporting other OSes that it will start to be more complicated than what it is.
