I am experiencing once in while pine hangs... it always happens when sending a message. At this point, there's a pine lock file on /tmp and ps -lt shows UID PID PPID CPU PRI NI VSZ RSS WCHAN STAT TT TIME COMMAND 1001 12238 12237 0 18 0 476 316 pause Is p0 0:00.03 -csh (csh) 1001 12239 12238 0 10 0 4236 2964 nanslp I+ p0 0:01.70 (pine) 1001 12329 12239 16 29 0 0 0 - Z+ p0 0:00.00 (sendmail) The sendmail and pine binaries are installed as follows, drwxrwxrwt 2 root mail 512 Aug 30 16:27 mail/ -r-sr-xr-x 5 root wheel 290288 May 17 20:41 /usr/sbin/sendmail* -r-xr-sr-x 1 bin mail 3004065 Aug 24 02:15 /usr/local/bin/pine* I am running FreeBSD 3.2 RELEASE and the pine binary was compiled from the University of Washington distribution. Any suggestions as to what is happening? -- Denis To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
