The code does not deal with this gracefully. In particular, gnats-admin@ has received about 2 dozen emails stating that update operations failed. What this means is that if you sent or replied to a PR during the past 48 hours (especially during the last 12), it is going to be up to you to make sure that it actually made it into the database. I have just finished checking the queues and the spam filters and all are now clear. There is no recovery mechanism for anything that may have gotten lost during that time, sorry.
