I know of two problems, one with select() and one with _exit(). I have local patches for these, and I'm working on a set of patches for -current that won't get me yelled at (!). And then there's an update required to match POSIX 1003.1c draft 11 (the current stuff is mostly draft 4 to match OSF/1^H^H^H^H^Hanother system we use). We sucessfully use the libc_r from -current with an otherwise 2.1R installation including the non-threaded X libraries. Window refreshes are a lot faster, even on a dog-of-a-machine.
