In trying to setup gnome I've found that gnome-session does not read the default.session file in /usr/X11R6/share/gnome/gnome. I removed the package, installed the port same problem. After a bunch of failed attemts to fix this problem I came up with an idea. I did a 'strings /usr/X11R6/bin/gnome-session' and found that it was trying to read the file in /usr/X11R6/share/gnome not gnome/gnome. I created some links and it solved the problem but the question is this: Who do I contact about fixing this? And where can I find said information? I assume its listed in the ports tree somehow, but I forgot to check. :) -Steve *=====================================================* \ Ford Prefect Ahead of my time. \ \ fordp@guide.chi.il.us but only by a week. \ \ homepage.interaccess.com/~fordp \ \ \ \ ((In esperanto where available)) \ *=====================================================* To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
