Hi there! recently i bought FreeBSD 2.2.6-RELEASE from Walnut Creek.. Since my computer supports CD boot i tried to boot FreeBSD from #1 CD from FreeBSD 4 CD distribution.. When it comes to the booting my computer sends these messages: Booting from ATAPI CD-ROM: 1. FD 1.44MB Sytem Type-(00) Error: D:0x0 C:0 H:0 S:0 ... .. . etc (numerous repeats of previous message!) Can you help me with this one..?! I have Teac CD-524E CD-ROM drive.. if this is unsupported CD-ROM drive type, please suggest to me what is the good choice for CD-ROM drive that is supported by FreeBSD my second question regards hardware probing during floppy FreeBSD boot.. when i go to visualized screen, near every single device i have in my computer stands message (Conflicted) <or something simillar!>.. Do you have any idea what's going on..?! Thanks for your support! Regards, Marko. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
