Yes! i am using this line commented out! As my dmesg output shows, it is being probed, but it cannot be found: acd0: Mechanism: ejectable tray acd0: Medium: CD-ROM 120mm photo disc loaded, unlocked wdc1 not found at 0x170 <-- Here (i do have it in kernel, don't i?). ppc0 at 0x378 irq 7 flags 0x40 on isa ppc0: Generic chipset (NIBBLE-only) in COMPATIBLE mode > In the former case, edit the config file and re-build the kernel, > in the latter edit /boot/boot.conf.
