"Waiting" is not supported/necessary because i4b "transmits" the number
completely as a block.

I guess, this "not waiting" is not the cause of your problem, the cause
is either an invalid character in your number string or your PBX requesting
something else/strange/whatever. If in doubt, contact your PBX documentation
and/or your nice PBX technician ;-)
