I want to split the followup into two parts: one for the TEAC CD-R,
and one for the PLEXTOR.

After a successful burnprocess I try to mount the new CD ROM:

The same problem occurs on WinXP or Win2k machines, the CD ROM drive starts
several times, looks at the CD and then, when trying to access the CDROM,
it reports a 'unformatted, damaged or not known format CD ROM'.
The same happens to the PLEXTOR machine ...
