You don't actually have to use natd to do nat; the user-mode PPP will do it
for you. But I understand, nat always seems like a cop-out.

Actually, the last week and a half has been pretty rough. Diane got
sick early last week with a terrible flu, Baily caught it on Thursday,
and Diane miscarried our new baby on Friday. It was very early term,
probably about 3.5 weeks, but it's still been more of a blow than I
expected. I had just started to think about a new baby, and wham...
Diane and Bailey are both starting to get better, I am resurfacing now,
and will catch up on some other mail I've had pending to you since early
last week when I can.
