Nakai-san, Are you absolutely, 100%, definitely, positively, sure that these patches address the numerous security holes in the currently available tarball? Do these patches at least address the 2 or 3 separate issues that have been raised on bugtraq and elsewhere? I've been sitting on a gdm port for quite a while, trying to figure out whether I should bring it in to the x11/gnome metaport for the 1.4 release. It would be nice to get some feedback as to whether the security issues have been addressed (so it's at least as secure as xdm/kdm).
