No, and to be honest it's unrealistic to expect users to do so right now,
just because of a gap in expected functionality.

Users who migrate from Windows or even Linux will be asking "Why can't I
format a disk in my USB floppy drive in FreeBSD?" and I'd really rather we
didn't fob them off with "No, switch to USB memory sticks instead", as such
an answer is just going to alienate new or prospective users of the system.

So, once again: has anyone else noticed this gap in the system's expected
functionality?
