	"hacked version of sendmail"  ?????
	EHLO is standard esmtp.
	this is old stuff already.
	see the rfc's  (rfc1825 perhaps)

	two relay hosts were the ns servers for amgen.com.
	why are nameservers configured to relay mail?  <sigh>
