In reality, we wouldn't really risk losing all the programmers on FreeBSD, just a significant number of them, and a number of them are pretty big contributors to the project. When the cost that Matt represents is larger than the benefit, then it's time for him to go. My only question at this stage is whether or not we have reached this point.
