The route is only handed over when the address is removed. It might help yo= u=20 when you have a laptop with a wireless card. You can first surf on your cou= ch=20 and later walk to your desktop, plug in the cable and unplug the PCMCIA ... This however, is not the primary goal here and CARP might indeed be what yo= u=20 are looking for ... BTW: I forgot to advertise (and people actually asked) CARP patches can be= =20 found at: http://people.freebsd.org/~mlaier/CARP/ =2D-=20 /"\ Best regards, | mlaier@freebsd.org \ / Max Laier | ICQ #67774661 X http://pf4freebsd.love2party.net/ | mlaier@EFnet / \ ASCII Ribbon Campaign | Against HTML Mail and News --nextPart1688102.c5n1zZPv4L Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.6 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBBk/+LXyyEoT62BG0RAuSuAJ9mDTxSwkEbQaYDSAKPW5wEGwFK+QCdE532 Fovh96LRbsZERiAoqcw3KVw= =9fbk -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1688102.c5n1zZPv4L--
