Running "make fetch" in the databases/mysql5-server directory gives the following error and then stops. "Makefile", line 156: Malformed conditional (exists(${DB_DIR}) && defined(OVERWRITE_DB) && ${OVERWRITE_DB:L} != "no") "Makefile", line 159: Malformed conditional (!exists(${DB_DIR}) || (defined(OVERWRITE_DB) && ${OVERWRITE_DB:L} != "no")) "Makefile", line 167: if-less endif "Makefile", line 167: Need an operator "Makefile", line 181: if-less else "Makefile", line 181: Need an operator "Makefile", line 201: if-less endif "Makefile", line 201: Need an operator make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue I have tried each of the MySQL server versions 4, 4.1 and 5 with each giving similar errors (just different line numbers in the Makefile.) Any ideas? Martyn Hill Network Administrator St James Independent School London
