I once moved some thousand users from NT to FreeBSD. I believe the NT used Ipswitch IMail and Ipswitch WS_FTP server. I managed to find programs that helped me convert all userfiles and mailboxes to plaintext files, and did some scripting to move the whole thing to BSD.
