Hello, For those who have seen me on the OpenBSD mailing list this morning, yes this is the same topic, also FreeBSD has so many mailing lists and I never know which one to post it to, this one seemed the best match. The FreeBSD User Group page [1] has the UKUG listed, which the mailing list still is up and going although dead apart from when I popped in to investigate, this one I doubt needs to be touched. However the Manchester BSD Group links to [2] which is in parking, and I have not been able to track down anyone from it, so its safe to say its defunct, just a little bit of housekeeping, I did get one response when I inquired [3], not sure who manages the website, but hopefully they see this and take the appropriate action. As a side note, hypothetically if there was a meetup/miniconf in London who would be interested in attending? (please offlist me if you are interested) There is no residency requirements to show interest, but please bare in mind its small and not worth money to travel a long distance. Also this is not confirmed in any capacity, if enough interest is shown I will proceed and see if something does come out of it, in which case I will announce it separately.
