I recently added a 3ware ATA Raid card to a 4.2-R box.  Now I get 
"invalid partition" messages on bootup.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am able to get the system to run with manual intervnetion, but reboot
fails.  Here is more detail on what happens at boot:

At this point if type in  1:ad(0,a)/kernel
the boot will start to proceed.  Then it will stop with:

    no devsw (majdev=30 bootdev=0x020001e)

    Manual root filesystem specification:
    <fstype>:<device>

   mountroot> 

Now I can type ufs:/dev/da0s1a  and the machine will come up.

What do I have to do so that machine will boot normally?
