This shouldn't cause breakage, but the library numbers should have been bumped. There has been a lot of "Upgrade to 1.2.2 to fix that" traffic on the gtk and gnome mailing lists, and some of the newer GNOME packages need 1.2.2 to work properly it seems. I missed my last window and I'm pretty busy at the moment. I've got changes and fixes for GLib and GTK+, but I've only got half way through the changes for the number bump. If someone can help it would be great. While I'm here, a question: The GNOME ports all explictly link against libxpg4, which seems to provide support for non-western languages?? If the gtk12 port automatically included this linking would it be a good or bad thing? The GNOME ports seem to work fine...
