Use whatever PC based hardware matches your requirements without any
virtual machines.

Do not forget that FreeBSD comes with jails. We use them to separate
things like web browsing, web servers etc from the host.

X plus Claws-Mail and a specific account to have them separated from
the normal e-mails.
