The philosophy followed by the development team makes a lot of sense. Aside from possible religious issues in either of these two camps, are there performance characteristics, supported equipment list, or stability issues that would make FreeBSD the OS of choice over Caldera Linux? Regarding applications, are you aware of growing ISV support for FreeBSD? Are you aware of any plans by anyone for a SunSoft Wabi port to run Windows apps?
