I've been having problems with fontconfig for many months now. The current problem, which has persisted through several cvsup's, is: >===> Generating temporary packing list >Running fc-cache to build fontconfig cache... >fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts": caching, 0 fonts, 16 dirs >fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi": caching, 0 fonts, 0 dirs >fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi": caching, 0 fonts, 0 dirs >fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/PEX": caching, 0 fonts, 0 dirs >fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo": caching, 0 fonts, 0 dirs >fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF": caching, 0 fonts, 0 dirs >fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1": /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: >/usr/X11R6/lib/libfontconfig.so.1: Undefined symbol "FT_Get_BDF_Property" >*** Error code 1 > >Stop in /usr/home/ports/x11-fonts/fontconfig. >*** Error code 1 The last time I was having this problem it was choking in the TrueType directory. I "solved" it by deleting a number of TrueType fonts that I don't really use. This time I tried deleting the TTF directory, so now it's failing in the next directory after. -- Roger
