Yeah, NCR 875 boards are pretty cheap these days ($140).

Exactly my thinking when I started this thread. For those looking into
FreeBSD-SPARC, this would allow you to get a brand-new workstation which
should run FreeBSD-SPARC (if we get the IDE controller in there) for
about $3K; perhaps less if you are a Catalyst member.
