I have an fxp0 and it was very sensitive to media and mediaopt commands on the ifconfig_fxp0= line. I forced it to full-duplex and 100baseTX. It was also very sensitive to the "network_interfaces="fxp0 lo0 tun0" ifconfig_tun0=". When I left off the run0 section, I was getting 8KB/s but when I added it back in, I was getting MB/s.
