To: questions@freebsd.org Date: Sat, 29 Jul 1995 13:47:02 +0100 (BST) X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4 PL21] Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Length: 816 Sender: questions-owner@freebsd.org Precedence: bulk Is there a list of PCI motherboards (or chipsets (?) ) which are known to work with FreeBSD with caching enabled? I've looked at the systems FAQ, but it's a little on the small side, and the PC hardware compatibility section in the handbook is empty (mental note: write something about these experiences to go in it). The list of uses of FreeBSD at http://freefall.cdrom.com/What/uses.html doesn't seem (as far as I can tell) to list all the information I'd need. OTOH, I'm not 100% sure of exactly what information I need, so any advice will be gratefully received.
