How can I get rid of am/pm once and forever, and have a 24-hour time? I have an en-GB locale and koi8-r character set (to be able to see Russian characters in my console). What do I need to do, to have am/pm disappear and to have 24-hour time in all system utilities? For instance, the 'uptime' command still shows am/pm. %tail -n 6 /etc/csh.login /etc/profile ==> /etc/csh.login <== setenv LANG en_GB.ISO8859-1 setenv MM_CHARSET KOI8-R # setenv LC_ALL en_GB.ISO8859-1 setenv LC_COLLATE ru_RU.KOI8-R setenv LC_CTYPE ru_RU.KOI8-R ==> /etc/profile <== LANG=en_GB.ISO8859-1; export LANG MM_CHARSET=KOI8-R; export MM_CHARSET # LC_ALL=en_GB.ISO8859-1; export LC_ALL LC_COLLATE=ru_RU.KOI8-R; export LC_COLLATE LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.KOI8-R; export LC_CTYPE %date Mon 11 Aug 2003 16:42:18 EDT %uptime 4:42pm up 1:12, 1 user, load averages: 0.10, 0.03, 0.01 % Cheers, Constantine.
