I am hoping that someone here could help with the text being mis-formatted or mis-configured for the tv. I have tried /boot/msdos/config.txt Have tried framebuffer settings --- unreadable or still off screen Have tried overscan settings --- no useable change Have not tried firmware FreeBSD-10.1-RELEASE-arm-armv6-RPI-B.img Thanks for any help, --e So I seem to have succeeded in setting the TV resolution right. TV: The size of the screen is 11.25 / 8.5 (inches high/wide). The TV has Video and Audio single RCA jacks in and out. There is also some recessed adjustment screws for "focus" and "screen". Screen changes the brightness. config.txt: ### appears to work 12-14-14 ### framebuffer_width=600 framebuffer_height=500 framebuffer_depth=16 overscan_left=0 overscan_right=0 overscan_top=-10 overscan_bottom=-10 overscan_disable=0 ### above is edit ##### disable_commandline_tags=1 gpu_mem=32 device_tree=rpi.dtb device_tree_address=0x100 kernel=uboot.img Have a good day, -e
