Hi all I have an Acer Travelmate 507DX. It has run win 98 and 2k fine and mandrake 9.0, well I love FreeBSD and so I loaded up 4.8 as of a few weeks back. I recompiled my kernel and added in PCM for Sound, now it hangs during boot :o( I googled and read I needed an option of PCI_ENABLE_IO_MODES, so I added this, and it still hangs :o( when I comment out the PCM line the kernel boots fine. Any Ideas ? Regards, Kat. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.443 / Virus Database: 248 - Release Date: 10/01/2003
