Hi, I have two questions: 1 - My .xinitrc includes fvwm, so, when I startx, everithing goes as I configured. But if I run xdm and try to login, I always get twm and my .xinitrc is ignored. How can I fix this? 2 - When i kill xdm with SIGTERM, the server stops but i loose the console. I can't even get a getty login prompt in the console, but if i run startx remotely, the server and the Window manager both start perfectly. why? Thanks in advance, Jose *--------------Jose Monteiro <jm@pluriproj.pt>--------------* | Pluriproj - Redes e Sistemas de Comunicacoes Lda. | | Agente IP em Leiria http://www.pluriproj.pt | *.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·* | Tel: +351 44 8182063 Fax: +351 44 8182061 | | Finger me or search key servers for my PGP public key | *-----------------------------------------------------------*
