Depending on your preference:
1) remove /etc/localtime,
then "ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Los_Angeles /etc/localtime"
or
2) do a "cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Los_Angeles /etc/localtime"
I prefer method 1 because then I can see what file I'm using (not
that it's hard to figure it out with method 2).
