Synopsis: FreeBSD 4.6 broke linux emulation install w/SVR4 emulation enabled. State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: phantom State-Changed-When: Fri Dec 24 08:36:23 GMT 2004 State-Changed-Why: All linux binaries are SYSV elf branded. When svr4.ko is loaded -- it handles them. So, in order to run linux binaries while svr4 enabled, you have to rebrand them first. (call 'brandelf -t Linux <execfile>' for each binary) http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=46576
