Message-Id: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hi ! Regarding the subject if there are no PCI soundcards supported I want to ask if there will be a change in this attitude. I'm noticing a the growth of vanishing (hm, sounds funny, sorry for my bad english) of ISA soundcards. So what to do if I can only get worse soundcards with ISA bus ? I'm making music so I need an excellent soundcard for working. But when I'm reading in this list, that there are no PCI-cards supported I can only use WinCrap with a PCI card. Any statements for the future of sound in FreeBSD ? Or will sound in FreeBSD die ? What about OSS ? Do they support PCI ? Thanx, Udo -- Udo Wolter, email: uwp@i.am, www: http://i.am/uwp !!!!
