I could not install via FTP but got the CDROM install to work. After first boot I tried to get the PCMCIA Xircom card to work. After an ifconfig I get the link light to come on. Then when I try to ping my default router it hangs for a second then all kinds of kernel messages get shot to the screen, stuff like xe0: watchdog bla bla. I am totally new to doing PC cards with FreeBSD. I looked on the PAO website and my card is supported. What else should I read to get this thing going? Also, I tried a different Xircom card to make sure the card was good and it was. FreeBSD 3.4 Release PAO for 3.4 PS: if anyone can help me get X going that would be great also.
