I think it's probably been folded into the main "Ethernet-HOWTO." Briefly, ensure that your cards are configured for unique IRQs and base addresses. Then add the following to /etc/lilo.conf: append="ether=0,0,eth1" to force autoprobing for a second card. regards, neil At 05:16 PM 9/18/98 +1000, Ben Cornish wrote: >Hi, > >im running linux slackware 2.0.0 and i have 2 Adaptec 2940 Cards in the >machine however the machine only finds one when it starts up ... >how do i get it to reconise 2 cards... > >thanks > >Regards Ben Cornish >Techmore Pty Ltd >Odyssey World >Ph +61 07 3252 2666, Fax +61 07 3252 5444 >ben@odyssey.com.au -*- ben@techmore.com.au > > >To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org >with "unsubscribe freebsd-aic7xxx" in the body of the message > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-aic7xxx" in the body of the message
