I broke Gnome To: freebsd-ports@freebsd.org (FreeBSD Ports) Date: Sun, 14 Oct 2001 15:29:10 -0400 (EDT) X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.5 PL6] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-ports@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I have a machine that I have been suing Gnome on for a while, but I seem to have broken it. Here is what I did: 1. CVSUP'd from 4.4 RELEASE to 4.4 STABLE 2. cvsup' ports. 3. Tried to build gnome form the meta prot. (this failed). 4. Used kd_delete to remove much stuff. 5. ftp's all the files in the ports/packages/gnome fdirectory. 6. Ran man iterations of pkg_add on these, which alos involed ftp'ingmany more dpendencies. 7. Now when I try to run aything relaed to gnome I get: /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libgdk_imlib.so.5" not found I can't find any package that looks like it contains this library. What can I do to get Gnome working again on this system?
