I just updated my libgmp, and rebuilt librep just fine with yesterday's -CURRENT. Of course, my machine has never seen -stable. This was a clean install of -CURRENT. I also removed /usr/include each time the compiler was updated. I don't define any special CFLAGS or optimizations beyond the default. I'm building on a P4 1.8 GHz with options DISABLE_PG_G in the kernel. You may want to punt, and install a package for librep. If you need one, I can cook it up for you.
