So I am mistaken when I mentioned that I will be reassigning the iSCSI Targets to the VBox SCSI controller but that I will be re-adding the VBox SCSI controller with one or more virtual drives attached= to it as was done before when the FBSD guest would lockup/freeze, but still disable the problimatical smartctl commands.
