Here is what I got from gdb: KnightCap does not dump core on my system, but it does segfault while searching the hash table. This occurs after selecting "Computer plays black (or white)" from the menu. It also seems to be quite buggy while connected to ICS, but does not segfault; I chose to stick with xboard for online games. Here is the error message. I am running 2.2.7-STABLE (current as of 28 July or thereabouts), and will run a ktrace on it in the morning.
