As root, I go to /usr/ports/sysutils/portupgrade and run make install distclean The system seems to obtain the pkgtools and some upgrades to it, but is unable to obtain the required bdb1-0.1.8.tar.gz. I have also looked at the collection at the freebsd site and tried the ftp site myself (ftp://moulon.inra.fr/pub/ruby/bdb1-0.1.8.tar.gz) and also cannot get in for some unknown reason. Is there any way to obtain this required file? I also sent this message to knu@freebsd.org who is the maintainer and hopefully this list or he will answer. A related, but different question has to do with /stand/sysinstall. When I use that to try to obtain packages from an ftp site, every site says that it doesn't have 4.8-STABLE which is the version I am running. Are the ftp sites not up-to-date? Thanks... __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo http://search.yahoo.com
