I have been running the latest SNAP till 4/29/95 when i supped
current. The new aic7xxx code hangs when booting if i have a tape 
in the drive (exabyte 8200).also i can do a DUMP but if i try to rewind 
the tape afterwords the machine locks up.if i do a "mt -f /dev/rst0 
status" it also hangs: 
ach0: Target Busy
I would get that message with the old aic7xxx but it would not hang, i 
would just have to issue the command again.
the controller is a adaptec 2742 and has 2 tape drives and a CD no hard drives
any help woud be appreciated.
